FOREIGN DRAFTS
Coconut Grove Bank sells drafts (checks) drawn on
foreign banks denominated in stipulated foreign currency.
BILL PAYMENT
Coconut Grove Bank facilitates your payment of routine bills.
Just tell us who, how much and when, and your bills will be
paid automatically.
CHECKING ACCOUNTS
Coconut Grove Bank has a variety of regular and innovative
checking accounts. Our Personal Checking Account provides
you an economical and convenient method of paying bills while
maintaining a complete record of your expenditures. Our Super-Now
Account is an interest bearing checking account, with interest
paid monthly, and a detailed monthly statement. Ideal for
higher balance checking accounts. Our Money Market Account
is also an interest bearing checking account, with limited
check-writing and pre-authorized transfer privileges with
the advantages of detailed monthly statements. Minimum deposit
required, but the higher your balance, the better your earning
power.
SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
Coconut Grove Bank Personal Savings Account provides quarterly
statements of all account transactions. Interest paid quarterly,
and for your peace of mind, the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC) insures each depositor up to $100,000.
CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS
Coconut Grove Bank allows you to lock in a specific interest
rate for a specific amount of time (30 days, 90 days, 180
days, 1yr, 1 1⁄2 yrs, 2 1⁄2 yrs, or 5yrs.) Can
also be used for collateral for other bank services.
Early Withdrawal Penalty:
Certificates with terms of 31 days or less require a forfeiture
of all interest earned. Certificates with terms of greater
than 31 days to less than one year incur a 30 day simple interest
penalty. Certificates with a term of 1 year and greater incur
a 90 day interest penalty. Additional disclosures for CD's
are included on the certificate of deposit disclosure.
HOLD MAIL
Coconut Grove Bank will hold your mail for pick up or we will
route it to any designation at your request.
SAFE KEEPING
Besides the regular hold mail, Coconut Grove Bank offers safekeeping
for customers additional checkbooks, checkcards, and credit
cards. Kept under dual control for your convenience and safety.
MISCELLANEOUS
Coconut Grove Bank also offers the sale of cashiers checks,
placing stop payments, letters of reference - Consular letters,
and telexes.
